Designed for Latin musical styles and beyond, this 10-string cutaway Dreadnought is tuned in fourths to A-D-G-C-F with octave pairs on the A and D courses and unison pairings above, creating a bold, rhythmic texture. Its torrefied spruce top and layered Big Leaf maple back and sides deliver a clear, balanced, played-in sound with plenty of projection. C-Class bracing—our cantilevered variant of V-Class bracing—dials up extra volume, lengthens sustain, and improves intonation along the entire fretboard. A slim, easy-playing neck delivers signature Taylor playability. Showcasing a high-contrast aesthetic akin to our original 600 Series Somos Collection guitars, this model features a gloss black finish on the entire guitar, white body binding and matching heel cap, a pearloid pickguard and matching truss rod cover, satin black hardware, an Italian acrylic rosette, and dot fretboard inlays. The 250ce Plus BLK Bajo Quinto comes equipped with an onboard EMG ACS pickup and ships in a lightweight, durable AeroCase.
