“North Street” is a collection of fine Custom Shop built guitars that have been inspired bythe much coveted pre-war ‘Golden Era’ classics that were made at the old C.F. Martinfactory in North Street, downtown Nazareth during the 1930’s.

Our North Street OM-18 takes the recipe for a classic Style-18 guitar and adds centuries-oldSinker Mahogany for the back and sides. Sinker mahogany logs have lain on the riverbed inBelize for hundreds of years. This unique aging environment imparts minerals andattributes to create a tonewood like no other. With a darker, denser tone, it is said thatSinker Mahogany is the closest tonewood available today to the old-growth mahogany usedto build those Golden Era Style-18 models in the 1930’s.

When coupled with an easy-playing modified low-oval neck and a dynamic AdirondackSpruce top with hand-scalloped X-bracing, this guitar is a perfect distillation of aGolden Era Style-18 guitar, with the playability of a modern instrument.
