The Volca Keys from Korg is a fantastic little analogue synthesizer based on the miniKORG700S from the 70s. It features a fully analog circuit, with three oscillators, filter, amp and an LFO. There’s also a handy step sequencer on board, and ports for MIDI in and Sync to other Volca units. The sync feature also works with other Korg hardware such as the Minilogue XD. Volca Keys sounds fantastic and is very affordable, making it a great addition to any setup!

Features We Love:

Analogue Synthesizer

The Volca Keys is a fully analogue synthesizer. It features three analogue oscillators, a filter, LFO and amp section. This can create lovely sounds with up to three voices of polyphony. The voice mode switch is a great feature too, which lets you switch between polyphonic, unison, octave modes and more.

Sequencer

You’ll also find the 27-note keyboard also works as a loop sequencer. The sequencer is easy to use, and is great for nailing down your ideas, or jamming along with other hardware!

Connectivity

The Volca Keys features MIDI in, so you can hook up your favourite controller if you want to play the synth on keys. You’ll also find sync connectors on all of the Volca range. This is particularly neat for syncing the tempo of multiple Volca units together via CV patch cables.
