Who Is It For?

Obviously, as it's been designed by an extreme guitarist, it excels at shred tones, offering a tight overdrive that doesn't mask fast runs of notes. However, Paul's playing covers many genres of music, so if you're looking for a tasteful overdrive that won't suffer from uncontrollable sag, then the PG-14 is more than worthy of a spot on your pedalboard.

Paul Gilbert

In the early 80s Paul was almost invited to audition for the late Randy Rhoad's spot in Ozzy Osbourne's band until they realised he was only 15. Since then Paul has been part of cult shredders Racer X, the hugely influential Mr Big as well as enjoying a successful solo career. But it may be Paul's dedication to the art of guitar that he is most recognised, from his many guitar tutorial videos and frequent guitar clinic tours, to his one on one guitar lessons. (in the past he has taught a young Buckethead and Satchel from Steel Panther!) Paul is always engaging, enjoyable to watch and it's clear that he loves everything to do with the guitar!

All About That Mid

The pedal features an active mid-frequency preamp which is located in front of the FET distortion circuit to give you a vast sweep of tonal options with refined accuracy.
