The first big update is the presence of a brand new USB-C connector, that allows you to connect the iRig USB seamlessly to newer devices withaudio quality @24 bit up to 48kHz.

iRig USB still offers all the I/Os that made iRig interfaces the first choicefor on-the-go guitarists: one 1/4 inch instrument input with dedicated gaincontrol, a 1/4 inch Amp output with dual mode operation, and a 1/8 inchheadphone output.

The Amp out can work in two modes: you can set the AMP out jack to carrythe processed signal, coming out from your device, back out to aninstrument amplifier. This is ideal for use with AmpliTube, TONEX andother tone processing apps. Or, mirror the input signal to the amp out touse tuners and other passive apps in front of your amp or pedalboard.

Connect an instrument (such as a guitar or a bass) to the InstrumentInput, plug the USB-C cable to your device and connect your headphones.You can adjust the level of the input signal with the knob to find theperfect level for your recording.The headphone volume is handled with the connected device volume'scontrol.

You can also connect the “Amp out jack” to an external amplifier and setthis output to carries the direct instrument input signal, or the processedsignal coming out from your device.
