The aging process under Tom Murphy's guidance has taken a leap forward, with the new nitrocellulose lacquer recreating the look of a guitar that has spent years in and out of it's case with it's wood moving to create that authentic checking. The Murphy Lab doesn't stop at giving you an authentically aged finish though, they know exactly how a vintage guitar should feel too. When you pick up this Les Paul you'll notice the rolled fingerboard edges, the rolled binding on the guitar and it'll feel like a guitar you've played your entire life.
