The 1960 Slim Taper profile on the solid mahogany neck isn't only accurate but also incredibly beneficial. It isn't as chunky as some other necks but still offers enough size to feel full and supportive while being easy to navigate around. Custombucker Alnico III Pickups

Gibson have not stopped at the aesthetics but have made sure that the pickups here also perform to the same high standard as the guitar itself. Taking influence from PAF tones, they offer a warm, well balanced and full sound. This means they handle clean tones just as well as when you apply some gain, which we know only too well you'll likely be doing with an SG!
