The Lester G is a great simulation of a Leslie Cabinet, a rotating speaker used a lot with organs in the late sixties and picked up on by adventurous guitarists around the same time. The Univibe effect was in fact an early attempt to recreate this sound and whilst similar, they each have their own characteristics and subtleties.

Leslie Cabs sound best with a little drive and this pedal has a built in overdrive that's warm and fluid. There's also compression here to bring the sound up front and centre, where it should be. You have controls for the fast speed and slow speed (normally you just have a switch so this is really good) and an acceleration knob to help you control how fast the sound speeds up and slows down. This pedal contains every variable you could possibly want in a Leslie sound and instantly takes your sound to the heart of the psychedelic revolution.
